Learning & Organisational Development Apprentice – 2 year contract
Salary:£20,323 per annum in the first year, rising to £23,450 per annum in year 2
Location: Birmingham
This is a Temporary, Full Time vacancy
The vacancy
Hours: Full time – 35 hours per week/ 70 hours over two weeks (nine-day fortnight)
Looking for an exciting opportunity to kick start your Learning & Development career, with an organisation with a strong social purpose?
This exciting role gives you the opportunity to gain a Level 3 Learning & Development Practitioner qualification, whilst applying your learning on the job.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a keen interest in learning & development and delivering excellent customer service. You’ll need a proactive, ‘can do’ attitude, with the ability to learn new skills and work effectively in a high volume, fast paced environment.
You will support our Learning and Organisational Development Team, gaining experience across 5 specialist areas, including Learning Experience, Leadership Development, Organisational Development, Wellbeing and Apprenticeships.
You will contribute to projects that have organisational wide impact, ranging from design to events planning and cohort management.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are a must, along with brilliant customer service, IT skills, and a flexible, creative approach. You’ll build strong relationships with stakeholders and work in collaboration with the wider people team and operational teams, to deliver an excellent support service.
The role is home based, with the requirement to work from our head office in Birmingham and travel across our geography as required.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion, enthusiasm and initiative for delivering quality of service
- Effective planning and organisation of workload to meet deadlines and expectations
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent IT skills
- Able to work under pressure and respond and adapt to changing priorities
