Drive excellence in vehicle maintenance and keep us moving.

Join the team as a Lead Vehicle Technician and support the daily running of the Transport Unit. Using your expertise, you’ll guide technicians and work on developing their skillset by looking for learning opportunities to bridge the knowledge gap. You’ll also gets hands on diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults as well as servicing, MOTs and other work in support of operational policing.

You’ll be

  • Identifying areas for improvement in the workshop and implementing solutions.
  • Leading on warranty processes ensuring successful claims and reducing downtime.
  • Sharing best practice within the technician community to develop an efficient and effective team.

You must have

  • City and Guilds Vehicle Technical or equivalent qualification.
  • Significant modern vehicle fault diagnosis and resultant repairs experience.
  • Previously worked on a franchised dealership fleet.
