Lead Solution Architect – London (Hybrid Remote) - £68k

36-hour week | 29% Pension Contribution | 1 day per week in office | Flexible Hours | Greenfield Project | Grow a Team

Our client, with offices in St. Pancras, are looking for a Lead Solution Architect to join and lead a team of 2 Solutions Architects as they undertake a massive re-architecture programme to build out and number of business-critical systems. This role will still be hands on, in terms of translating business requirements into technical designs & deliverables for the engineering teams, but will also have the responsibility for leading a small team and growing it as necessary with additional architects – supported by the Head of Architecture and Design.

The company boast a very flexible approach to work with a 36-hour work-week managed by the employees, rather than set hours or even core hours. This is brilliant for those with responsibilities outside of work such as childcare or school runs. They also offer remote working, meeting up in the offices once a week with the rest of the team – though there is also a degree of flexibility around this too.

To Be Considered

• Demonstrable experience in Solutions Architecture
• Demonstrable experience leading architectural projects
• Experience of system wide or end-to-end design on scalable systems
• Experience architecting microservice systems
• Experience working with Data intensive systems would be a benefit
• The company have recently adopted Azure so any experience in that area is a benefit but not necessary
