Lead React Full Stack Engineer (Remote)

We’re looking for a Frontend-Heavy Full Stack Engineer to join Togal.AI, where we’re building an AI-powered pre-construction takeoff tool that’s reshaping the future of the construction industry. What You’ll Do

• Architect & Build Front-End Systems: Design and maintain scalable, high-performance React applications, with a strong focus on performance, accessibility, and clean UI.
• Innovate with Features: Prototype, iterate, and ship new product features quickly (e.g., estimation add-ons, layout generation, 3D visualization).
• Shape UX & Design: Collaborate with UX designers, provide technical feedback on prototypes, and independently implement polished, signed-off designs.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously improve responsiveness and speed in complex front-end systems.
• Contribute Across the Stack: Work with Node.js APIs, cloud deployment, and assist with our migration from REST to GraphQL.
• Collaborate Closely: Partner with product, design, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences while influencing frontend best practices.
  
  

What You Bring

• Deep React Expertise: Strong background in React (and ecosystem: TypeScript, Redux, Next.js).
• Complex Front-End Experience: Proven track record building and scaling applications (ideally similar to ClickUp or Linear) with attention to performance and algorithmic design.
• Full Stack Ability: Node.js and API integration experience, with enough backend know-how to ship features end-to-end.
• UI/UX Best Practices: Strong grasp of responsive design, accessibility, and modern web standards.
