We are looking for a motivated, patient focused pharmacist to lead our clinical pharmacy services to Medicine with a team already well embedded within these individual specialties.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your clinical and leadership skills within a team and a directorate that recognises the influence and impact that pharmacy has on patient care and the organisation as a whole.
The department will provide the environment for you to work closely with clinicians and service managers alike to improve patient care and support the development of Quality Improvement initiatives across the Trust,
To be responsible for the ongoing development and evaluation of high quality clinical pharmacy services to medical specialties.
To liaise with and provide medicines management reports for the relevant directorate and care group to ensure safe and cost efficient medicines use.
To deliver, develop and evaluate training programmes for pharmacists and other members of the MDT in medicine use.
To deliver, develop and evaluate the Medicines Optimisation service provision in conjunction with the Principal Pharmacist and other Lead Pharmacists
