Lead Document Controller

Your Job

Phillips Medisize, a Molex company, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Lead Document Controller on a 1 year FTC basis to oversee and maintain our controlled document systems. This role is critical in ensuring that both paper-based and electronic document systems meet internal and external requirements, including applicable regulatory standards. You will be responsible for the integrity, compliance, and continual improvement of our document control processes.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for the integrity, compliance, and continual improvement of our document control processes. This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in shaping a robust and compliant documentation system within a forward-thinking organization.

• Act as the System Administrator for the company’s electronic document management system (EDMS).
• Support and administer the company’s electronic training management system.
• Manage both electronic and physical documentation, including provision of records to external stakeholders.
• Oversee on- and off-site archive facilities, ensuring the control of Quality and project documentation.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and controlled documents, ensuring they are current and compliant.
• Generate and report Quality Management System KPIs for internal performance tracking.
• Guide and support team members in using document control systems effectively.
• Participate in infrastructure and quality improvement projects as required.
• Maintain a working knowledge of GMP and ISO standards relevant to documentation practices.
• Actively promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organization.

Who You Are

• Educated to A-Level or equivalent.
• Proven experience in document management, control, and archiving.
• Experience with electronic document management systems (EDMS) is essential.
• Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work flexibly in a dynamic environment.
• Strong team player with a proactive and collaborative approach.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Previous experience in a regulated industry (e.g., pharmaceutical, biotech, manufacturing) is desirable.
• Working knowledge of GMP and/or ISO standards is a plus.
