Lead Software Developer

Grantham, Lincolnshire Office Based 2-3 Days Per Week / Hybrid

£75,000 + Up to £5,000 Bonus

Your Background / Skills: C#, Delphi (ideally), Front End Development, HTML, JavaScript. Line Management.

The Opportunity:


What your day-to-day might look like:


+ Developing our back-end systems in multiple programming languages, including C# and Delphi, based on internal requirements and development specifications required by our customers

+ Contributing toward front-end development in recognised web technologies, including HTML and JavaScript, and ensuring effective interoperability with our back-end systems

+ Line managing of the other developers in the team, ensuring they are engaged to their fullest and mentored on a daily basis

+ Involved in and contributing to the entire software development life cycle and processes, from the initial idea or customer request, through to delivery and finalisation of the work

+ Overseeing a full overview of the development internal monitoring systems, ensuring they are used to their fullest and development resources are used effectively within the team

+ Leading and introducing internal development processes, to ensure the technical team runs effectively and efficiently

+ Contributing to ad-hoc projects as and when required


About you:


+ At least 5 years experience in previous senior development roles – Delphi experience is a significant benefit

+ Line management experience

+ A Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or comparable qualification

+ Excellent communication and organisational skills

+ Creative and self-driven with a strong work ethic

+ A team player with an enthusiastic approach

+ Ability and confidence to deal with all stakeholders in the business, including other team leaders, customers and senior management
