Lead Analyst for Population Health Management and Health Inequalities

NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board (ICB) is a statutory NHS organisation responsible for developing a plan for meeting the health needs of our communities, managing the NHS budget, and arranging for the provision of joined up health services which improve the lives of people who live and work in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

In this role, you will lead the integration of population health management methodologies, working with large and complex datasets to generate insights that inform strategic decisions. A key aspect of your responsibilities will involve embedding population health management within the ICS, ensuring that data-driven approaches are used to enhance strategic planning. You will also be responsible for managing and delivering a range of projects aimed at improving health outcomes and reducing health inequalities.
You will conduct in-depth analysis to model demand, resources, and healthcare trends, ensuring that service provision is efficient and aligns with the needs of the population. Collaboration will be essential as you work closely with stakeholders across the health and care system to improve data literacy and ensure that data is effectively used to support decision-making processes.
In addition to ensuring data governance, quality control, and compliance with national standards, you will also take on a leadership role by mentoring and developing a team of analysts. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, you will contribute to the long-term success of the health and care system in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
We are looking for candidates with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of managing complex datasets, and the ability to lead and deliver on strategic initiatives.
