LCV Technician Required In The Tiverton Area

• Salary of up to £38,000
• Working hours - Monday to Friday 8am - 5.30 1 hr lunch,
• Alternate Saturday mornings - 8am - 12pm

Popular with Local commercial companies our client, a well-known commercial vehicle dealership, is currently seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their Service Department in the Tiverton area.

With many years trading experience they are known as the go-to commercial vehicle dealership in the area. They have a strong business ethos, creating a positive environment that helps both individuals and the business to move forward symbiotically.

Duties of an LCV Technician with our Client:

• Predominantly working with on 4x4's, 3.5 tonne vans and some 7.5 tonne
• Full automotive services and necessary repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards
• Make estimations for the length and costs of specific jobs and advise customers on their importance
• Brake, clutch and timing belt changes / repairs
• Engine and gearbox stripping and fitting
• Diagnosing faults using computer hardware and software
• Ensure the workshop standards are always maintained
  
  

What our client expects of their LCV Technician:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, however, they are willing to interview applicants with only part qualifications so long as they have previous experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Good communication skills and be confident when talking to customers as well as their team members.
• A “can-do” attitude and the ability to overcome problems
• Organisational and time management skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Right to work within the UK
