Job Length: 15 Month FTC – Full Time

About the role:
Conducting microbiological and chemical sampling and analysis and assisting with calibration and support of required maintenance of lab equipment. All training and development will be provided.
If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for a Laboratory Technician. Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, this role will play a key part of our success journey and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:
Role Responsibilities:
- Chemical and microbiological samples to be taken and analysed according to the sample plan.
- Carry out general duties within the lab and Take part in writing and co-ordinating effective and replicable SOPs/OPLs that provide consistency of approach and are validated and verified through auditing.
- Assist with sensory sessions and with sensory training as required
- Calibration and maintenance of QA instrumentation within the lab and production areas
- Recording data entry and reporting of analysis.
- To ensure quality labs are kept in a high level of hygiene and 5S standards are maintained.
- Involvement in laboratory purchasing and stock control.
- Science A Levels achieved.
- Previous experience working in a laboratory is desired.
- Understanding/awareness of hygiene and food safety standards.
- Self-motivated, confident, and enthusiastic person with strong organisational skills
- Good Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Confident to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and motivated and able to adapt to changing priorities.
- Analytical thinking and problem solving.
