Job Introduction

As a Kitchen Porter at RAF Benson, Wallingford, you'll be one of the key catering staff, without you, we cant run our kitchens efficiently. Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. You belong in a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way.

What You’ll Do

• Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations
• Work closely with the chefs and larger catering team, to ensure the running of kitchen and dining facilities is efficient and smooth
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is used correctly, and report any faults to your line manager
• Assist with deliveries, replenishing stock and its rotation
• Waste disposal in a safe, thorough, timely manner

• Basic food-handling knowledge
• A good sense personal and environmental safety
• Willing to learn new skills and gain experience whilst in the role
• No previous work experience required

Package Description

• 37.5 hours per week
• Any 5 out of 7 days
• Early shift 05:30 till 13:30
• Middle shift 11:00 till 19:00
• Late shift 16:00 till 00:00 (Must be fully flexible across all shifts)
• £11.44 per hour
