Hours: Term Time - 36 hours per week, 42 weeks per year (flexibility will be required).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing an efficient, clean, and organised dishwashing area, to wash up pots and pans.
  • To maintain the kitchen cleanliness in accordance to food hygiene and health & safety regulations, using the correct chemicals according to COSHH.
  • To provide a safe working environment in the kitchen, wash up and back of house.
  • To ensure the smooth running of these areas you need good organisation skills and ability to avoid a backlog of washing-up.
  • To receive stock and check quality and quantity against the delivery note/invoice.
  • To ensure at the end of the shift that everything is cleaned, and the floor is swept and mopped up ready for the next day.


Experience:

  • Working within catering essential.
  • Experience working with children preferred.


Qualification Criteria:

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • GCSE level Math’s and English or equivalent level qualification.
  • Relevant Health & Safety and Food Hygiene qualifications desirable.
