What is the job role?

Kitchen Assistant

10 hours a week

38 weeks (term time only)

Shift Pattern: 11.45am – 1.45pm (Mon-Thurs) & 12 noon-2pm (Fri)

£22,366 - per annum

Permanent (start date 7th January 2025)

11.59 an hour

Grade 2

We are looking to appoint an effective team player who

  • Works well as part of a team.
  • Is able to communicate effectively with young children and colleagues.
  • Is able to work in a hot and fast paced environment.
  • is able to assist with general kitchen and dining room duties.
  • Has good awareness of hygiene regulations and health and safety matters.
  • Is committed to the safeguarding of children.
  • Is reliable, punctual and able to meet the physical demands required of this role (e.g. lifting items, standing on feet for duration of shift, working in hot conditions).
