Kitchen Assistant

Location: Kenwith Castle Residential Home - Bideford - EX39 5BE

Pay rate: £12.30 per hour

Hours: 40hrs per week (alternate weekend working)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant to join the team at Kenwith Castle, our residential care home set in 30 acres of stunning North Devon countryside at Abbotsham, Bideford.

Previous experience within a kitchen environment is not essential but be prepared to be busy in a fast-paced role.

Caring individual with the ability to support our residents during mealtimes.

Flexible in the hours that you work and happy to join in as part of our larger kitchen team.

What you will be doing:

• Support the Chef team with the basic preparation of fresh and nutritious meals, snacks and drinks for our residents
• Assist with supporting residents with an enjoyable dining experience every day
• Ensuring kitchen and dining room areas are kept hygienic and clean
• Washing all cooking appliances and crockery - sanitising all food preparation areas
