About the Role:
An exciting opportunity to join a growing, forward-thinking national business operating within the drainage and plumbing industry. As an Account Manager / Surveyor, you’ll be the face of the company—building strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and managing projects from initial survey through to completion.

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity to join a growing, forward-thinking national business operating within the drainage and plumbing industry. As an Account Manager / Surveyor, you’ll be the face of the company—building strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and managing projects from initial survey through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with commercial customers
- Conduct site surveys and client meetings
- Prepare and submit quotations and technical reports
- Identify new sales opportunities with existing clients
- Seek out and develop new business leads
- Communicate client needs across relevant teams internally
- Manage projects in line with both client expectations and company objectives
- Collaborate closely with the sales and operations teams
- Participate in a telephone support rota (1 in 6 weeks), providing technical advice to engineers over the phone
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in drainage, plumbing, construction, or a related industry
- Solid understanding of surveying and quoting in a commercial environment
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Comfortable travelling to and from our Ongar office
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines
- Basic IT literacy is essential; proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is advantageous
- Professional appearance, good punctuality, and a strong team ethic
- Positive, resilient attitude and a sense of humour appreciated within a close-knit team
- £40,000 basic salary
- Uncapped commission - OTE £70,000+
- Company van (fully equipped with surveying equipment)
