Job Description

Key Account Manager

Working Monday to Friday working 40 hours per week

Salary: £55,000 per annum

Job Purpose As a Key Account Manager, you will oversee the relationships of Polar Speed's most important clients, you will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining long term key customers within the NHS and healthcare pharmaceutical companies by proactively understanding their requirements.

You will be adept at building strong relationships with strategic customers and be able to identify their needs and requirements to promote Polar Speeds portfolio of solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction. Your primary goal will be to contribute in sustaining and growing our business to achieve long term success.

Key Responsibilities: Develop relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition. Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements. Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives. Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to the customer in a timely manner. Serve as the link of communications between key customers and internal teams. Resolve any issues and problems faced by the customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust. Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long lasting relationships. Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics. Chair and manage regular customer meetings such as MBR and QBR.

Requirements and Skills: Proven experience as a key account manager. Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building and maintaining relationships with professionals. Relationship building and processes knowledge to maintain and grow business opportunities. Excellent organizational skills. Ability in problem solving and negotiation. Agile thinker, quick response with keen eye for detail. Strong presentation skills, with the effective use of data to communicate performance levels and identify opportunities for improvement. Ability to review and use data to improve customer service experience and cost efficiencies. Self motivated, pro-active. Target and KPI driven. Confident and highly professional attributes. Ability to speak and influence professionally at board level.

Additional to standard role: UK travel as required to attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
