Description
Why Kinetic? At Kinetic, we don’t just build software—we build the systems that power university life behind the scenes.
From student accommodation to campus events, our smart tech helps over 350 universities worldwide run smoothly, efficiently, and digitally. We’ve been around for 25+ years, and we’re still growing fast.
We’re backed by Volaris Group, part of Constellation Software Inc., one of the world’s largest software companies. That gives us the scale, stability, and global reach—without the corporate grey.
At Kinetic, You’ll Find a Team That’s
Curious by default
Big on collaboration
Obsessed with building better

As a Junior Web Developer, you’ll join our Professional Services team, working on real client projects, building features, fixing problems, and learning how software goes from concept to customer.
You’ll be working with experienced developers, getting mentorship, and growing fast. This is hands-on, practical development—not theoretical tutorials.
Key Responsibilities

Building web apps using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Web API
Writing clean, functional HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Using libraries like jQuery and Bootstrap (and knowing when not to)
Crafting efficient SQL queries and understanding SQL Server workflows
Deploying real software to real users—on-prem and in the cloud
Getting comfortable with Git, Bitbucket, and version control workflows
Communicating clearly with clients (especially non-technical ones)
Writing maintainable, well-documented code your future self will love
Collaborating in a fast-paced, supportive dev team
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
What We’re Looking For
We don’t expect you to know everything—but you should be excited to learn. You’ll likely have:
Some experience with C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (from uni, a bootcamp, or personal projects)
A curious mindset—you’re the type who experiments, Googles, and builds
Solid communication skills—you don’t need to present TED Talks, just explain your thinking
Pride in writing clean code, solving problems, and doing things properly
Bonus points if you’ve played with SQL, Git, or AI tools
Job Benefits
