We’re excited to be hiring for an Junior level Talent Acquisition Partner in our newly created Talent Acquisition team. Acting as guardians of talent for the business, our focus is on sourcing exceptional people for the right role at the right time, ensuring we influence quality hires to drive business excellence and delivering exceptional candidate experience along the way.

About The Role

This Junior Talent Acquisition Partner will be supporting stakeholders across Store Operations and Supply Chain for colleagues based in our Distribution Centre in Thatcham, as well as colleagues in Knightsbridge.

Reporting into a Talent Acquisition Partner for the same area, you will manage a varied vacancy load focused on entry level roles through to team leader and lower-level specialists. You will partner closely with business stakeholders to ensure you thoroughly understand their needs, as well as influencing them to deliver best in class candidate experience. Harrods is famous for service and that includes our relationships with potential colleagues too.

Motivated by targets and KPI’s you’ll help us achieve our ambition of driving high performance at Harrods through both the quality of the candidates you recommend and bring into the business and the pace at which you work. This remit of Store Operations and Supply Chain directly contributes to the service that our external customers receive and so we play a vital role in helping to protect and elevate operational performance.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Collaborating closely with Hiring Managers to fully understand their specific talent needs and provide tailored guidance on effective recruitment strategies.
  • Partnering with the Talent Acquisition Partner to ensure every talent choice reflects our business and team goals, taking ownership of the recruitment outcomes.
  • Carefully assessing candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure only the highest-quality candidates progress.
  • Promoting best practices in candidate selection and continually seek innovative ways to enhance our recruitment standards.
  • Using innovative sourcing strategies to identify and attract exceptional talent, building a pipeline of candidates for future opportunities.
  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records in Workday to ensure data integrity, facilitating informed decision-making and effective reporting.
  • Enhancing the candidate experience by providing clear communication, timely feedback, and a welcoming environment throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Implementing strategies to ensure that every candidate feels valued and engaged, regardless of the outcome.

Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.

You will be a confident individual with strong communication skills and the ability to connect with people at all levels, from candidates to business leaders and have the presence and credibility to influence their thinking. You will be knowledgeable about Harrods and the industry(ies) you will be recruiting for whilst being proud of the organisation you work for and a strong brand ambassador.

To help you build and maintain exceptional talent pipelines, you will have strong networking and people skills both internally and externally, demonstrating your expertise and dedication to candidates and stakeholders at every opportunity. You will also be organised and service driven, you care about and understand the value you can add to the business through an eagerness to work towards targets and accomplish business needs – whether this be productivity or quality targets.
