As a Maersk Solution Design Analyst, you will be an integral part of establishing our Contract Logistics capabilities and growth in UKI. You will be a key driver for growth using a strong analytical approach to act as a trusted advisor on designing and solutioning warehouse proposals supporting the local sales organizations to win large scale opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

In support of customer proposals you will support in the design of solutions including lay-outs, resource calculations, IT requirements, operational processes and flows, costs and in accordance with HSSE requirements.

You will assist in the development and preparation of new logistics concepts and value propositions based on identified best technical and organizational solutions.

Engage pro-actively in the sales process for contract logistics opportunities, to act as a technical support to area sales safe-guarding operational viability of the solutions sold.

Build market and product knowledge and ensure this information is shared with all relevant stakeholders, sales and colleagues in the wider business.

What are we looking for?

Experience in International Supply Chains with an understanding of the value drivers of supply chain and how that can help customers deliver value to their business

Focused on customer needs and have a data driven approach with the ability to analyse and make the translation into appropriate solutions and actions plans.

Strong Warehouse and Distribution operational background and understanding, incl. extensive knowledge of technologies that support warehousing processes with proven vertical specific understanding on trade / regulatory / statutory and security compliance requirements and technological solutions.

Numerate, financially astute and analytical with knowledge of Logistics processes and solution design outlines and methodologies,

Solid technology skills that include a comprehensive understanding of WMS requirements.

Enjoys collaboration and with proven track record in a matrix, multi-cultural organisation, building strong relationships and networks both locally and internationally.

Agile and self-starter Strong that enjoys working in a high pace and versatile environment.
