Reports to: Senior UX & Digital Analytics Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Digital Analyst to support our Ecommerce team in tracking, analysing, and optimising digital performance. This role focuses on implementing and managing Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in digital analytics, with support and training from us. You’ll be exposed to a variety of tools and gain experience in ecommerce and online marketing.
This role is offered on a hybrid working model (2 days in the office, 3 days from home).
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain GA4 and GTM for ecommerce tracking and reporting.
- Assist in tagging, event tracking, and data layer implementation.
- Analyse customer behavior and conversion data to improve digital performance.
- Collaborate with the wider digital and development teams to optimise tracking strategies.
- Generate reports and dashboards to visualise key ecommerce metrics.
Requirements:
- Basic experience with GA4 and GTM. As this is a junior position, we don’t expect anyone to be an expert with these tools - full training and upskilling will be provided on the job.
- Understanding of ecommerce KPIs and digital analytics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; SQL or Python is a plus.
- This role is ideal for someone passionate about data and ecommerce, looking to grow their expertise in digital analytics.
- University degree with a focus on statistics/data science/web development or similar would be advantageous
