Junior Buyer – Fully Funded CIPS Level 4 Diploma Opportunity

What You’ll Be Doing
Develop a full understanding of the relationship between the four Tricel divisions (Water, Construction, Environmental, Distribution) to maximise buying efficiency
Review, evaluate and monitor existing suppliers, parts, products and services
Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce costs and stabilise the supply chain
Reduce inventory levels and lead times; optimise delivery frequencies
Ensure ERP system data is regularly cleansed and accurate
Resolve supplier issues and support internal team
Collaborate on New Product Introductions (NPI) with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams
Support warehouse operations and finance functions
Establish and maintain purchasing KPIs and reports for Senior Management
Who We’re Looking For
A motivated individual with a genuine interest in a career in procurement
Understanding of supply chain principles (CIPS or similar qualification advantageous but not essential)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong IT proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
A proactive, team-oriented mindset and a ‘can-do’ attitude
Project management experience or exposure is a bonus
Knowledge of raw materials and production processes desirable
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
