An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 x Joiners at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust to join our busy Estates & Facilities Team who are responsible for the maintenance and meeting legal compliance levels at our City campus. You will provide a professional service alongside our in house maintenance team providing a safe and pleasant environment for staff, visitors and patients alike.

Our Team is tight knit and work well together with this vacancy suiting a qualified joiner who is looking for a Team that can provide a high level of service and support on an on-going basis. Working week will be 8.00am -4.00pm Monday to Friday with annual leave starting at 27 days annually along with Bank holidays.

The post holder will provide the day-to-day maintenance to NUH properties at the City campus site. Either this will be in the form of reactive tasks or pre planned maintenance to ensure statuary compliance is met. Required to organise own day to day work tasks or activities along with planning and organising of straightforward tasks with Ward Managers/other Managers when working in occupied areas. Applicant must have significant experience related to construction and minor new work and joinery maintenance work in large organisations along with being competent in the use of woodworking tools and machinery. The post holder will be expected to be guided by standard operating procedures, good practice and be able to understand what results and standards are to be achieved. The post holder will also be expected to be able to carry out duties independently and within small teams without routine supervision.
