About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to support the design, development, and delivery of secure software solutions in a classified environment. You will work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into robust, fit-for-purpose applications. This is a fully on-site role based in Central London due to the sensitive nature of the work.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and maintainable software systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and define solutions
• Work within an agile delivery environment using modern methodologies and practices
• Contribute to the improvement of continuous integration and deployment pipelines (CI/CD)
• Ensure all software adheres to secure coding and development standards
• Participate in peer reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions
  
  

Essential Skills And Experience

• Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Strong proficiency in the Spring framework (e.g., Spring Boot)
• Solid understanding of data modelling and working with relational databases
• Experience in agile software development teams and methodologies
• Working knowledge of secure software engineering principles and practices
• Ability to work independently in a high-security environment with minimal supervision
  
  

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must hold active and transferable DV (Developed Vetting) clearance
• Only sole British nationals will be considered due to the security classification of the project
