Job Purpose:

To provide monitoring and analysis of Kyowa Kirin International’s cyber-security program across the EMEA region. Using a combination of internal tools and processes and external vendor managed services, you will support the delivery of day-to-day security operations.

Reporting to the IT Security Manager, this role supports the execution of our cyber program in a number of key areas such as; alert triage and ticket management, incident response, threat intelligence, threat hunting and user education and awareness.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide monitoring and analysis of our internal and external infrastructure across all regions, escalating potential issues as they arise in a time-sensitive manner
• Participate in incident response activities as-needed whenever security incidents arise
• Respond quickly to emerging events, taking proactive measures as required to maintain security
• Conducting in-depth analyses and investigations and creating subsequent documentation
• Gather and collate threat intelligence from open and closed sources to determine likely business impacts and improve defenses
  
  

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (desirable)
• Operational familiarity with cyber-security operations and support, with a technical background
• Excellent soft skills and ability to communicate at all levels
• Strong problem-solving ability and analytical mindset
• Inquisitive and detail-oriented
• Ability to learn new skills and continuously improve knowledge
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO27001 and NIST CSF
• In-depth understanding of the UK data protection act and GDPR
