About JERA Nex

We drive JERA’s renewable energy business growth in Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. As a global renewables company working across the life cycle of renewables, we are looking for talented people to be an active part of this exciting journey as the business grows further.

The role will be based in London and will require occasional travelling and frequent collaboration with the JERA Group Headquarters in Japan, the JERA Nex Headquarters in the UK and Parkwind Headquarters in Belgium.

We urgently need to procure and configure systems and processes to support the rapid growth of the company. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in global company, a proven track record in successful project management, and be excited by the power of technology to transform business.

What you will be doing:

  • Work closely with the Head of IT to ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Work with business colleagues in UK, Belgium and Japan to define clear project scopes and objectives.
  • Lead the procurement of suppliers including production of Requests for Proposals and the evaluation of suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project plan to track and report progress.
  • Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Administer project governance process.
  • Capture project risks and manage risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors to support project execution.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Monitor budgets and report variances.


Job Requirements

What you will have:

  • 5 years of IT project management experience.
  • Experience working on global and international projects.
  • A certificate in project management (e.g., Prince, Agile, Scrum) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, to create clear visual presentations, narratives, and storylines.
  • A collaborative approach, to work alongside with various different teams and understand their needs.
  • A confident, collaborative, proactive and professional attitude.
  • Strong relationship-builder skills.
  • Good Excel skills.
  • Fluency in English (Japanese is a plus).
