Evaro is looking to do for health care what online banking has done for finance, and we’re looking for an iOS Developer to help us do that.

About the job:

We’re looking to hire at least two iOS Developers to create a native iPhone application that will initially match and then expand upon our current web and mobile capabilities. You’ll have strong experience in iOS app development and SDK creation, with experience in creating B2C and B2B mobile experiences, integrating APIs, and developing secure and customizable applications. While Evaro is based in Norwich, in the United Kingdom, this position can be office-based, remote, or hybrid for the right candidate. You’ll be collaborating with developers, data scientists, and colleagues across the United Kingdom, the rest of Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. The role is offered initially on contract basis with competitive compensation, although we’re open to it moving to a permanent basis after a trial period.

In this role you will:

• Develop a high-performance, secure iOS SDK that encapsulates our core healthcare services
• Build our flagship iOS application to provide services to our patients wrapping the SDK
• Create a flexible white-labeling system to support B2B partner customization
• Implement robust API integration with our headless WordPress backend
• Design architecture to support future machine learning capabilities
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data security regulations and Apple guidelines
• Collaborate with our data science team to prepare for ML feature integration
• Work with UX/UI designers to deliver an exceptional patient experience
• Write comprehensive documentation for both internal use and B2B partners
  
  

You'll report directly to the CTO and work closely with our backend team, data scientists, and product managers in a collaborative environment.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Swift and iOS development (5+ years experience)
• Experience developing and maintaining SDKs for third-party implementation
• Deep understanding of iOS architecture patterns and best practices
• Experience with RESTful API integration and secure data handling
• Knowledge of white-labeling and customization techniques for iOS apps
• Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git
• Experience with mobile app security, authentication, and encryption

• Strong understanding of healthcare data privacy considerations
• Knowledge of healthcare technology and electronic health records
• Background in developing healthcare or medical applications
• Experience in implementing analytics and monitoring tools
• Experience with Core ML or other mobile machine learning frameworks
