About the role:

As a member of the JCB Supply Chain Team, you will be responsible for producing and updating a variety of reports and dashboards. You will also work closely with the Head of Strategic Inventory to deliver processes and execution to deliver best in class.

Availability is critical to JCB’s drive for the industry’s finest customer support and you will be responsible for the collation and delivery of the management information detailing our Global Distribution Centres performance in line with designated targets. This includes responsibility for updating the WPC Availability Centre with associated data points.

The role has several work-streams with a large portion operating in Syncron, SAP and Excel. Having the ability to learn quickly is vital and previous system experience is preferable.

The role is specifically measured on the required reporting outputs for the Department and deliverables set by the Head of Strategic Inventory and General Manager of Supply Chain.

You will work alongside the Purchasing and Inventory Assistant and supporting the wider Supply Chain Management Team with their ad hoc requests.

What does this role involve day to day?


  • Delivering complex analysis with support or autonomously
  • Producing all report requirements to schedule
  • Updating existing reports with any changes
  • Utilisation of SAP, Syncron and JDS to extract data
  • Working within Syncron to execute forecast and inventory processes
  • Utilising the Business Warehouse to extract and summarise data
  • Delivering supplier moves from the WPC to the EDC as per plan
  • Delivering bespoke requests in a timely manner
  • Working with the Head of Strategic Inventory to review and action individual Warehouse changes to support availability and identify opportunities and risks
  • Cover for Purchasing and Inventory Assistant


This will be suited to you if


  • You have SAP experiences
  • You have advanced Excel experience essential including macros
  • You have experience in Syncron
