We are uniquely placed with a variety of work across various specialty areas. Interventional Radiology provides an extensive service. CT guided biospy's and ablations. Plus diagnostic, ultrasound, biopsy's & cardiac angio's. The role of an IR Practitioner requires a range of skills from pre-assessment, perioperative care (scrub and circulating), and post anaesthetic care following the procedure. Conscious sedation is provided, following adequate training to keep the patient's comfortable & relaxed during the procedure. Those with no experience in this area will be provided with training, competences & support.
