Part-Time Intervention Teacher

Are you an experienced and passionate educator with a knack for delivering focused interventions in Maths and Literacy? We are looking for a dynamic Intervention Teacher to join a primary school based in Tamworth.

Position: Part-Time Intervention Teacher

Location: Tamworth (B79)

Working Days: 3 days a week (Wednesday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering focused intervention sessions in Maths and Literacy to small groups of students.
• Working with small groups of children in upper KS2 to support their learning and progress.
• Assessing student needs and tailoring interventions to address specific learning gaps.
• Collaborating with classroom teachers to ensure consistency and continuity in teaching.
  
  

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience teaching in upper KS2.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the Maths and Literacy curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
