Description

We are seeking a proactive, people-focused Internal Recruiter to join our Recruitment team at Motherwell Head Office, UK and help attract top talent across a range of technical and operational roles. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building strong talent pipelines to support long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process across multiple departments, including engineering, site management, health & safety, and support functions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create targeted job descriptions and adverts.
  • Source candidates through various channels (job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking).
  • Screen CVs, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interview processes with hiring teams.
  • Maintain and update our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure GDPR compliance.
  • Help implement and improve recruitment strategies and employer branding initiatives.
  • Represent Wills Bros at careers fairs, industry events, and university partnerships where required.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in recruitment (in-house or agency), ideally within construction, engineering, or similar sectors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with candidates at all levels.
  • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using recruitment databases, CRMs, and digital sourcing tools.
  • A proactive approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, LinkedIn and Bullhorn.
