About The Internal Recruiter / Headhunter Role

We have an interesting role which would suit a candidate with previous internal recruitment / headhunting experience, specifically within the accountancy sector.
Ideally looking for candidates in the Portsmouth area but we are able to consider candidates looking for remote working and looking for full or part time hours (minimum 30 hours / 4 days per week).
Working closely with the Head of HR and Recruitment and the senior management team, you will be working on a project and not involved in the day to day recruitment. The project will involve searching and identifying Partners or senior staff who may be open to a new role, as an equity Partner in one of our firms, or with a view to setting up their own practice in our environment.

- researching and identifying suitable candidates
- headhunting via CV searching platforms to message senior candidates
- following up with candidates
- screening CVs and conduct first stage telephone interviews
- liaising regularly with senior management team, providing updates
- arranging meetings between candidates and senior management team
- managing the offer process for new recruits
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a previous internal recruiter, ideally gained within a professional services team
- previous experience with headhunting is required
- understanding and experience of working with the complexities of recruiting specialist markets
- experience of successfully managing a diverse group of stakeholders often with conflicting requirements
- seen as an effective and persuasive communicator who seeks insight into the business and acts as an expert adviser
- confident speaking to senior management, stakeholders and senior candidates
- strong networker with excellent market knowledge
- adapts well to an ever changing landscape, demonstrates resilience, flexibility and energy
- commercially minded with a focus on the business aims
- highly organised and confident in approach
- excellent IT skills, including a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- confidential and professional
