A rapidly expanding and successful group that encompasses all aspects of the meat trade is recruiting an Intake Operative (FLT Driver) to join the dayshift at our site in Irlam, Manchester.

Our business, which is a catering butcher, has over 100 years of experience in the meat and farming industries. All products are prepared in the factory daily for each customer's specifications, packaged and labelled to and above legislation and then delivered directly throughout the UK.

About The Role
The main responsibilities of an Intake Operative are:
Operating a counterbalance and reach forklift truck
Quality controlling and quality checking of all deliveries
Breaking pallets down manually
Stock replenishment
Stock rotation and stock management of goodsWe welcome applications for this Intake Operative role from candidates with any of the following skills: intake, warehouse, factory, time management, teamwork, organisation, day shift, counterbalance truck, communication, quality control, QC, stock rotation, stock management, and goods in, or as a warehouse operative or forklift driver.
