What will you be doing?

The successful candidate will join a team of media and analytics consultants in Germany whose core objective is to support German FMCG manufacturers and retailers delivering growth by making quantifiable recommendations for on our clients media, price and promotional strategies. This is achieved via insightful analysis of our Marketing Mix Modelling solutions, Assortment Solutions and Media Lift Solutions using various quantitative research methodologies.

Your role will be to lead projects through delivery with a key focus on analyzing and presenting results to clients. This role includes working closely with the local technical analytics consultant and the offshore modelling teams. In the role you will work closely with FMCG manufacturers and retailers and for relevant projects also liaise with their media agencies.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for project management, implementation, analysis and delivery of Analytics projects using mainly Marketing Mix modelling (Econometrics) delivering insight and recommendations for clients for future media campaigns, price strategy and promotional recommendations.
• Strong project management from sign off through to the delivery of reports and results, working closely with the local technical consultant and offshore modelling team.
• Liaise with media agencies and media owners to collect the data for studies
• Sense checking modelling outputs and providing feedback to the modelling team
• Interpret modelling results and make insightful recommendations to our clients on their media and in store investments
• Client liaison and key contact throughout the project
  
  

Requirements

• A clear understanding of marketing strategy, price strategy and promotions and/or FMCG business and market trends
• Previous relevant experience in marketing mix insight delivery will be an advantage
• Good knowledge of Media channels and how advertising works will be an advantage
• Applicants do not need to have a statistical background to apply, but must have strong analytical skills with an aptitude for accurately managing and interpreting data and proficient in MS Office
• Strong analytical, insight and strategic thinking skills
• Ability to interpret data and develop strong story telling narratives
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to make complex data simple to understand.
• Good planning and organisational skills, able to manage multiple projects collaborating with local and offshore teams
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude with aptitude to learn
• Self-motivated, accountable and committed with good decision making and project management skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment managing multiple projects and stakeholders and liaise at multiple levels both in Circana and with clients.
• Articulate, able to proactively identify and communicate issues, taking ownership for resolution and/or escalating as appropriate
