Job Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic and dependable colleagues with Health and / or Social Care experience who can contribute to the care of our patients with kindness, compassion and empathy on our wards at the Evington Centre in the grounds of Leicester General Hospital. These wards provide sub-acute care, palliative care and complex rehabilitation.
Our wards are led by nurses and you will work under their guidance as part of a very supportive team. Experience of working in health and social care is essential. You will be supported to complete the Care Certificate and we actively encourage on-going development. The post will provide cover on a rota basis over a 24 hour per day, 7 day a week service.

- Undertaking clinical observations and providing clinical care as delegated.
- Supporting our patients in maintaining their health, well-being and independence.
- Providing personal care to include washing, dressing and toileting / continence care.
- Accurately recording patient information.
- Working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
