Our story began during a road trip in the 1990s, where our founders, Will and Andy, travelled across America collecting vintage items while living out of motels. They started purchasing vintage clothing in the USA and selling it wholesale, which eventually led to the creation of stores. From there, they began designing reworked vintage pieces, and thus, Motel was born.

Over 30 years and a team of 200+ people later, every piece of clothing we make is created with the same spirit of fun, freedom and adventure as the road trip that first defined the brand. We’re still ambitious and independent, but now we’re a global team - we work from an operational base in Worcester, a design studio in London and a creative studio in Bali.

The role

You will support the Influencer Relationship Manager in the efficient running of our Influencer Relationship team, running weekly reports to showcase their output as well as assisting in the training of team members to ensure they can comfortably hit targets.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Complete end-to-end relationship management with talent, from initial outreach emails to posts being received.
• You will be expected to be organized and efficient and hit weekly and monthly targets
• Consistent evaluation of new and existing talent partnerships, including always on identification of new talent ensuring we stay ahead of our competitors.
• Managing brand and content guidelines for all collaborations, ensuring the content requested is on brand and to a high standard.
• Weekly and Monthly reporting
• Ad hoc tasks which may require you to think on your feet
• Weekly reporting to heads of department
• Handling any incoming requests from other departments such as Buy, Marketing with guidance from management team
• Assisting with training employees so they are competent in hitting targets

• Organised and task oriented
• Trend aware
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• A willingness to learn and work as part of a team
• Excellent at using TikTok with constant knowledge of what’s trending, transitions, sounds and new features we could utilise.
• You will be working with influencers/clients placed all over the world and so responding to emails and communicating out of normal working hours is to be expected.
• Time management to ensure all reports on completed in a timely manner
