We're looking for a Digital/Data Analyst to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team based in Bridgwater, Somerset, on an industrial placement.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on our placement programme. These programmes have been designed to provide you with the experiences and tools needed for progression within your chosen career.
Location: Bridgwater, Somerset
Contract: 12 months - 40 hours per week
Salary: £12 per hour + car allowance
Start date: September 2025

As a Digital/Data Analyst, you'll be assisting the wider team with reporting and data analysis to support decision making and forecasting.
Your Day To Day Will Include

When you join, you will be enrolled onto our industrial placement scheme. The programme will take 12-months to complete and has been designed to immerse yourself in the world of construction, you'll get to see your learnings in real world situations and gain practical experiences to support the rest of your degree.

We're on the lookout for students undertaking a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics or related fields, who have the option or requirement to complete a placement year from 2025 - 2026. After your placement, you'll be returning to university with a graduation year of 2027.

- Developing reporting solutions which facilitate data exploration to answer questions about what has happened and why within the contruction project
- Forecast analytics to provide insight as to what is likely to happen in the future
- Acquiring and applying statistical techniques for data analysis to support the delivery of the construction project

- Competency with databases, cleaning data, and performing basic statistical analysis
- Ability to effectively communicate insights using tools like Power BI
- Strong analytical mindset, capable of identifying patterns, interpreting data trends, and applying logical reasoning to solve problems.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
