Role: Inclusion Coordinator
Academy: Outwood Academy Ormesby
Start Date: As soon as possible.
Salary (Actual Salary): Grade 9, SCP 22-25 (£29,845.32 to £32,204.32 per year.)
Working Pattern: 37 hpw, term time only plus 15 days.

Outwood Academy Ormesby can be found in the town of Middlesbrough in the north-east of England. Our goal is to continuously improve and become a leading academy in the region.

At our academy, we have highly trained staff and effective safeguarding measures in place to support all staff members. Additionally, the SLT and staff work together effectively to ensure that all students are actively engaged in their education.
About The Role
As a key figure in our 'family', you will be expected to contribute to the daily support of the school and ensure all our pupils are catered for during their time in our setting. Your team will consist of two SENDCOs for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and team of TA's at varying grades as well as a Health and Wellbeing Officer, Healthcare Assistant, and an Inclusion Administrator.
We are sure you will already be an extremely well organised professional and have the ability to plan and prioritise work to ensure that strict deadlines are accurately met. The ability to work on your own initiative and lead by example is essential. Nationally the needs of children are fluctuating and as such your experience of working with students with SEND is essential, as is the ability to produce strategies and interventions to assist our more vulnerable students achieve their full potential.
The Outwood family is able to offer some exciting opportunities to develop your knowledgbase through our CPD transformation model delivered at Outwood Instuitute of Education. The role will require you to accurately input, track and monitor data relating to these students and produce reports and recommendations to both the Senior Leadership team and your Inclusion team.
You need to be able to deal with students, parents and outside agencies in a professional, prompt and confidential manner. Needless to say, you will be an aspiring leader and able to use your existing experience in management to lead a team of staff to continue to 'raise standards and transform lives'.
