Inclusion Support Assistant – Physical and Sensory Needs

Fixed-term position linked to external funding for an individual student, to be reviewed each academic year

Part-time working 32.5 hours per week, term time only for 39.2 weeks per year

Salary: Grade 5: £25,989 - £27,254 per annum pro rata

Actual salary: £19,823.56 - £20,788.46 per annum

As a partner academy in JTMAT, we are seeking to appoint a hardworking, committed and enthusiastic Inclusion Support Assistant (Physical and Sensory Needs) to join our evolving organisation.

The successful candidate will support the SENDCo, teaching staff and students with a focus on students with physical and sensory needs. Under the direction of the SENDCo, the successful candidate will support students with day-to-day tasks in order for them to access the curriculum. This position will include personal care. We expect excellent communication between the successful candidate, staff and students. All staff are expected to work alongside the teaching staff to be role models for our students, demonstrating the highest standards of teamwork, collaboration and respect. John Taylor Free School opened in 2018, and we are now at capacity with Year 7-13.
