This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week.
This post will be primarily working from home with requirements for travel to hospital sites and head office in London Cannon Street, as required.

We have an opportunity for an Imaging Application Specialist to join our team of staff in our Clinical IT department.
This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week.
This post will be primarily working from home with requirements for travel to hospital sites and head office in London Cannon Street, as required.
Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria
- You have Strong (3+ years) experience in supporting clinically facing IT applications within large (~£250M+ annual revenue, 5,000+ end-users, 20+ different locations) organisations.
- You have good (2+ years) experience in service delivery of the IT environment and building 3rd party supplier relations.
- You have experience in support Imaging applications such as PACS / VNA and other image processing solutions.
- You have good knowledge of DICOM, HL7 and imaging workflows.
- You have good, up to date knowledge of relevant legislation including data protection, information security and information governance.
- You have experience in the creation and delivery of application training.
- You have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer and team working ethos, able to build and maintain good, effective working relationships across IT End-Users, Clinicians, Managers, IT team and 3rd Parties.
- You have strong, demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills with data analysis and reporting using pre-built tools.
- You can explain/translate highly technical documents to non-technical colleagues.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- You have experience in a hospital Private Healthcare based clinical or IT role.
- You should have ITIL certification
- You should be highly self-motivated and well organised to deliver results and have a pro-active approach to duties and self-development, setting personal objectives that support the business/team goals. Keen and able to learn new technologies.
- You should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), service desk management systems and analytical tools (specifically experience using SQL scripting)
- You provide a 3rd Line support for imaging applications/systems where expertise and knowledge are needed to resolve more complex issues or troubleshooting where 2nd line are not able to resolve.
- You contribute to strategies to enhance and replace imaging applications to improve workflow efficiency, improve patient care outcomes, improve data quality, and drive innovation in clinical operations through the effective use of technology.
- You perform ongoing maintenance activities to ensure the stability, performance, and security of imaging applications/systems. Continuously optimise applications to meet changing business needs and technological advancements.
- You create robust and repeatable testing methodologies that will ensure consistent testing for new upgrades, functionality and systems that will result in identifying, tracking and resolution of issues with suppliers and other involved teams.
- You contribute to and monitor service improvement plans (SIPs) to address identified areas of improvement, enhance the quality-of-service delivery, and optimize the performance of imaging applications/systems.
- You contribute to regular service reviews, performance assessments, and root cause analyses to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for service enhancement and optimization.
- You cultivate strong relationships with clinical stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, administrators, and other healthcare professionals, to understand their needs, priorities, and pain points.
- You conduct workshops, focus groups, and interviews to gather requirements and validate solutions, bridging the gap between clinical end-users and IT Teams to improve systems.
