JOB - ICA Technician
LOCATION - Maidenhead
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - £40,000 to £50,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Premier Engineering is working with a leading engineering company based in Maidenhead that is looking to hire an ICA Technician to support their operations. Experience within the water industry is highly desirable.
The ICA Technician Will Ideally Have The Following Attributes
Proven experience in Instrumentation, Control, and Automation (ICA) roles
Strong electrical and control systems knowledge
Experience working within the water or wastewater industry
Relevant qualifications in electrical or control engineering (e.g. NVQ, HNC, HND, or equivalent)
Ability to diagnose faults and carry out maintenance, calibration, and installation of instrumentation systems
Knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, and telemetry systems
Strong understanding of health and safety standards in industrial environments
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Full UK driving licence
The ICA Technician Role Will Involve
Installing, maintaining, and repairing instrumentation and control systems
Supporting operational teams with the upkeep of automated processes
Diagnosing and resolving technical faults on electrical and instrumentation systems
Performing routine calibrations and adjustments to maintain system accuracy
Working on a variety of ICA systems within treatment plants and pumping stations
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and health and safety regulations
Completing all relevant documentation and reporting
