Hygiene Operative (Day shift)

Are you passionate about maintaining high hygiene standards and working in a fast-paced, food manufacturing environment? We’re looking for a Hygiene Operative to join our dedicated team in Milton Keynes.

Shift Pattern: 6am – 6pm, 3on 3off rotating shift pattern

Pay: £12.92 p/h

What You'll Be Doing

As a Hygiene Operative, you’ll be an essential part of the production team, ensuring all hygiene standards are met or exceeded. Your day-to-day will include:

• Thoroughly cleaning production lines and equipment to the highest standards
• Completing hygiene tasks as directed by the Hygiene Team Leader
• Ensuring accurate completion of cleaning records and reports
• Proactively reporting any hygiene or food safety concerns
• Following strict food safety and manual handling procedures
• Removing waste correctly and minimising environmental impact
• Wearing appropriate PPE and maintaining hygiene practices at all times
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards (Food Hygiene Level 2, HACCP Level 2, COSHH Level 1)
• Strong awareness of HACCP principles and hygiene best practices
• Reliable, energetic, and self-motivated with a flexible, can-do attitude
• Comfortable working in both high-risk and low-risk areas
