Position: Health Safety Manager- Telecom / Construction (British National)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Safety Manager to join our team. As the Health Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring health and safety policies, procedures, and practices to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for our employees. You will work closely with our project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with local laws and national regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Provide training and support to employees and contractors on health and safety protocols.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, and provide recommendations for corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry best practices, regulations, and legislation related to health and safety.
  • Collaborate with project managers and contractors to ensure health and safety protocols are followed on construction sites.
  • Monitor and evaluate health and safety performance, and report to senior management on a regular basis.
  • Develop emergency response plans and procedures, and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to health and safety.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • NEBOSH certifications , Working at Height and RF Awareness training
  • Strong knowledge of UK HSE regulations, including CDM 2015, Work at Height Regulations, and EMF guidelines
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within UK a health and safety management role, preferably in the telecom or construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and legislation.
  • First Aid certification , IEMA or environmental qualification
  • Full UK driving license
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
