Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations casework including performance, dismissals, grievance and absence and organizational changes, appropriately utilizing internal expertise and external counsel as required.
- Provide flexible, proactive and high-quality advice and guidance to business leaders line managers, influencing and coaching managers to develop their people management skills and capabilities.
- Ensure global policy and principles are consistently applied across different geographies whilst ensuring local practices meet local labor law, cultural and other expectations.
- Work with colleagues in different geographies to ensure high quality delivery of HR services for your assigned internal client groups, in some cases without direct line management responsibility.
- Assist the HR Director/Head of HR in determining and delivering HR’s strategic priorities.
- Ensure HR visibility and accessibility enabling proactive support and to “keep a finger on the pulse” to help identify and act on engagement/cultural challenges or issues.
- Support annual performance review activities and coaching and supporting managers on performance management to ensure quality of review and planning. Assisting calibration and supporting talent review process.
- Identify learning & development needs and develop appropriate solutions working with CoE and HR colleagues.
- Respond to MI requests and provide reports and analysis as directed by Head of HR/HRD.
- Work with the HR team and colleagues to continually improve services.
- Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary.
- Assist with and contribute as appropriate any other relevant projects and initiatives as required.
- Good generalist HR background, gained within a commercial environment.
- CIPD qualified, or currently working towards Intermediate level qualification or good equivalent experience as an HR practitioner.
- Global or multi-regional experience and knowledge an advantage.
- Able to manage and operate in a matrix organisation.
- Able to work effectively in a virtual/hybrid environment. Prepared to travel for appropriate in-person meetings/events.
- Confident advising managers on all aspects of people management. Personally credible and able to take the role of trusted advisor.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills and able to form effective working relationships at all levels and with stakeholders across the business.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and numerical skills.

- Competent user in Microsoft office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint).
- Comfortable with using collaboration tools (Teams) and HR platforms (ideally Sage People).
- Strong commercial outlook, able to understand the business’s objectives and support business growth and change.
- Comfortable “rolling sleeves up” and carrying out both advisory and administrative functions as required. Equally comfortable working with senior level management – able to coach and lead practice.
