About the job
As HR Advisor you will work with the HR team to deliver the People plan providing HR support to Managers and Colleagues across the Company.
This is a true generalist role with a great opportunity to get involved in a wide range of people related activity and work with Managers and Colleagues across all aspects of the Company.
This role will involve:
- Providing accurate and timely HR advice and guidance to Managers and Colleagues on HR related matters in line with the employment legislation and company policies and procedures.
- Supporting Managers with a range of employee relations cases, to include preparation of disciplinary packs, attending formal meetings to take notes and drafting outcome letters in line with company policies and employment law.
- Identifying training needs and support L&D initiatives through the delivery of line manager training and upskilling.
- Supporting the HR Operations Partner and Head of HR with the delivery of ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives.
- Working with the HR team to undertake job evaluations and benchmarking.
- Reviewing and drafting policies, ensuring they are fit for purpose and support our commitment to equality and diversity
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of UK Employment Law legislation and commit to ongoing personal and professional development.
About you

We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor who is confident in their knowledge and ability to provide sound advice across a variety of people matters including Employee Relations, HR Processes, Reward and Employee Engagement.
Our ideal HR Advisor will hold a CIPD Level 5 certificate and be confident operating HR systems as we have recently implemented People HR across the business.
It goes without saying that you will be organised, an effective communicator in person and on the telephone, with professional verbal and written skills, resourceful, approachable, diligent and solutions orientated.
As a national company some travel will be required in this role, therefore access to a vehicle and a valid UK driver’s licence is required.
