Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and motivated HR Advisor (3 month Fixed Term Contract) to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

Immediate Start Required

  • In collaboration with the HR Partner, be responsible for providing a first class, business and people focused operational HR service; providing advice and support, managing employee relations and engagement and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
  • Take the lead with learning and development; focusing on employee development, aspirations and supporting the business with succession planning and identifying talent.
  • Develop and administer an annual training plan; taking into account both operational and business needs and supporting managers and the business to achieve and maintain compliance with relevant Health and Safety legislation.
  • Build effective working relationships with employees at all levels; providing advice and guidance on a range of HR policies and HR related issues to support understanding and ensure effective communication of good HR practice.
  • Build relationships with managers at all levels and develop a good understanding of their work in order to support a HR partner framework and service.
  • Ensure effective monitoring of sickness trends and support remedial action in accordance with Company policy; facilitating a proactive approach to absence management to ensure a smooth return to work.
  • Complete occupational health and EAP referrals as and when required to support the health and wellbeing of employees; supporting managers in review meeting’s and ensuring that all documentation is up to date.
  • Over-see a number of case management’s as required and in collaboration with HR Help; ensuring that agreed actions are undertaken in a timely way.
  • Engage in promoting and “living” the core values of the Company, monitoring employee health and well-being and making recommendations on how to make improvements.
  • Support the development of strong communication and feedback channels with all staff and through a variety of mechanisms to support employee engagement, including the Continuous Listening survey and You are Valued scheme.
  • Ensure all data on both manual and computerised records is accurate and up to date and provide accurate and timely reports as and when required.
  • Ensure that all relevant documentation is provided to the payroll department e.g. salary changes.
  • Produce reports to support the monitoring of HR metrics/KPI’s as required.

Qualifications And Experience

CIPD Qualification or equivalent experience.

Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, within an HR capacity.
