We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Administrator looking to gain experience in a busy HR department to join us on a 3 month fixed-term contract. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week from 8.45am to 5.45pm, Monday to Friday.

Key activities:
- Provide an HR administration support service to operational managers, employees and HR team ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times
- Draft correspondence (e.g. contractual documents, correspondence relating to discipline, grievance, absence management processes) ensure personnel filing is up to date with correct documentation (e.g. right to work, DBS certification, current terms of employment, etc.)
- Ensure the administration relating to appraisals, capability and probationary reviews, exit interviews are within the allotted timeframes
- Induct new employees and ensure the process is properly administered
- Participate in recruitment and selection of staff
- Maintain and monitor the HR administration systems both paper and computerised to ensure the HR database and other platforms are up to date and accurate
- Provide reports or statistical data when necessary; to use appropriate systems to monitor and maintain records
- Previous experience of working in a process driven environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; strong English language and numeracy skills
- Able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines, demonstrate flexibility in approach
- Team player, able to maintain confidentiality
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel essential; working knowledge of HR databases and/or reporting tools would be an advantage
