We are seeking a hands-on Hotel Manager with a strong operational background to lead the team in this unique and beautiful property.


A favourite spot for local couples to say “I do” against the backdrop of our timeless Georgian Manor, this isn’t just any hotel. With regular weddings and events throughout the year, you’ll pivot seamlessly from budgets to banquets, driving revenue and empowering the team to deliver an exceptional experience to your guests.


This role reports to the Regional General Manager.


About the role

You are responsible for overseeing the smooth running of day-to-day operations in the hotel and managing ongoing profitability. Guiding and inspiring your team of trusted HODs, you ensure all revenue, guest satisfaction and brand targets are met.


Duties include:

  • Managing budgets and controlling expenditure
  • Overseeing major events.
  • Recruiting, training and managing hotel employees.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety and licensing laws, as well as maintaining property and amenities.
  • Continuously improving business operations through standard procedures, maximising revenue and monitoring employee performance.

About You

An ideal candidate for this role should possess the following attributes:

  • Team Player: Capability to recruit, train and manage a diverse team, fostering growth and development.


This role would be ideal for an Operations Manager in a banqueting hotel ready to take on their first Hotel Manager role.
