History Teacher

An established secondary school in Horsham is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Education Support professional to join its team. The successful candidate will assist teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences and provide practical, pastoral, and academic support to pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teachers in planning and delivering lessons.
• Assist pupils individually or in small groups, including those with additional learning needs.
• Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Prepare and organise learning materials and resources.
• Contribute to school activities, enrichment opportunities, and trips as required.

• Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, flexible, and supportive approach to pupils’ needs.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a school team.
