About The Role
You will be part of a two-person team, operating our high specification jetting equipment and vacuumation units. Work Projects, will include any drainage related issues, including blockage clearance, pipe cleansing programmes and emergency reactive works.
Although you start at the depot, you will be mobile attending to all work activities, within various work sectors, including industrial, rail, utility, commercial, residential. Travelling in your vehicle you will be covering jobs throughout the region which can involve travel times added in addition.
About You
You will already be familiar with high pressure jetting equipment and / or drainage networks, you will be required to hold an HGV Class 2 licence, with no more than 3 penalty points ideally. A Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is desirable.
Skills
You can become a successful Utilities Waste-Water Technician if you have problem-solving, listening, critical thinking, teamworking abilities and a customer focussed approach. Also, as you need to operate machinery, excellent hand-eye coordination and concentration are essential skills. The following skills are also essential:
You will be expected to comply with all Group Health Safety and Environmental compliance, full Training with be provided as part of a Group Induction Training package which will include high pressure jetting course, confined space, manual handling, first aid and other relevant courses to obtain certification.

- Location: Stafford
- Salary: Up to £15.00ph dependent on experience
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 47.5 hours per week

- A driving licence with no more than 6 points
- An in date CSCS would be advantageous – however this could be obtained is necessary
- Valid CPC (desirable)
- Drainage experience
You will be expected to comply with all Group Health Safety and Environmental compliance, full Training with be provided as part of a Group Induction Training package which will include high pressure jetting course, confined space, manual handling, first aid and other relevant courses to obtain certification.
