Are you an HGV driver fed up with not knowing when you’re working next? We’re looking for flexible Class 1 HGV Drivers to join us at our site in Darlington, on a permanent contract Tramping.

You’ll be supporting us with one of our contracts working as a Tramper - Monday to Friday. In return for your hard work, we’ll offer you a competitive base salary of £41,158.00, £26.20 per night away and uplifted overtime rates, with a guaranteed 50 hours per week. Overtime is paid after 50 hours per week.

You will also be applicable for a £300 signing bonus! Paid after two full weeks of work has been completed and an additional £300 bonus, once you have passed your 12-week probation period!

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Making multiple deliveries across the UK to branch stores
• Drivers are required to assist in unloading products at each drop
• Using a PDA to record and scan deliveries
• Must be technically minded
• 4 nights out every week
• Full training will be provided
  

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• We’ll need you to have a full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement),
• You’ll have no more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
